World Food: National Starvation Solution
It’s funny how we take everything for granted, isn’t it? We get a new phone? Oh well, after 2 months it’s already boring. We’ve got new furniture? It’s just a place we sit on, it gets old really fast. While we concentrate so much on getting everything that’s new and popular, we forget that there are so many people that don’t even have the most basic of necessities in their life. While we ponder on what’s the newest gadget there’s a person starving to death somewhere in the world.
World Food: National Starvation Solution–This day is for them. This whole day is dedicated to every single person in the world that is unable to feed themselves or their loved ones. During this day, we, Sitters4Critters, encourage everyone to pull out your wallets, buy as much food as you can, and give all of that food to the people that need it. This day is basically the day where everybody tries their best to eradicate world hunger.
World Food: National Starvation Solution
The statistics show that a whopping 21,000 people die every day in the world because of starvation. That is just insanely depressing. We need to do something about that, even if it is only 1 day a year, we need to do this. So, for this special day, put your phones down, shut down your computers, and go to the closest grocery shop you can find. Get as much food as you can buy, and just surprise the people that had no reason to smile. Make this day a day to remember. Nobody is saying that you shouldn’t enjoy the more expensive and exquisite things in life, not at all, be grateful for the things you get.
Remember how you felt when you received the thing you wanted most? Remember how happy you were? Well, now it’s your time to spread the joy. With a little amount of cash you can make a child go to sleep with a full belly, you can make a family smile; you can make sure that that person can go to sleep without worrying about food. You can do all of that by simply buying some food and offering it to someone. This is the day we forget about our own problems, and make sure nobody goes to sleep with an empty stomach!
